Original recipe yields 4 servings
1 can (14 oz.) chicken broth
1/4 cup water
2 cups instant white rice, uncooked
1/2 cup PLANTERS Sliced Almonds, toasted

Bring chicken broth and water to boil in medium saucepan.
Stir in rice; cover. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 min.
Add almonds; mix lightly.
How to Toast Nuts
Toasting nuts not only gives them a pleasing golden color, but also intensifies their flavor and adds crunch. To easily toast the nuts, spread them in a single layer in a shallow baking pan. Bake at 350°F for 8 to 10 min. or until lightly toasted, stirring occasionally.
Serve with your favorite cooked lean meat or poultry.
