What You Need
Original recipe yields 4 servings
1/2 cup oil
4 green plantain s, peeled, cut lengthwise in half
1/4 cup KRAFT Thousand Island Dressing
2 tsp. minced garlic
1 pkg. (9 oz.) OSCAR MAYER Deli Fresh Smoked Turkey Breast
4 lettuce leaves
2 tomato es, each cut into 4 slices
4 KRAFT Swiss Singles

Let's Make It
Heat oil in medium skillet. Add plantains; cook 3 min. on each side or until lightly browned on both sides. Remove plantains from skillet, reserving oil in skillet. Drain plantains; flatten to 1/4-inch thickness. Return to skillet; cook 1 min. on each side or until golden brown on both sides. Drain.
Mix dressing and garlic; spread onto cut sides of plantains. Top 4 plantain halves with turkey, lettuce, tomatoes and Singles; cover with remaining plantain halves.
How to Flatten the Plantains
Place drained plantains, cut sides down, on cutting board. Use second cutting board or flat dish to evenly flatten plantains. Then, add to hot skillet to brown as directed.
