What You Need
Original recipe yields 8 servings
2 cans (15 oz. each) hearts of palm, undrained
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1/4 cup chopped green pepper s
1/2 cup sliced celery
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup KRAFT Zesty Italian Dressing
1/2 tsp. ground black pepper

Drain hearts of palm, reserving liquid from 1 of the cans; set aside.
Cook onions, green peppers, celery and garlic in dressing in large skillet on medium-high heat 2 min. or until vegetables are crisp-tender, stirring constantly.
Add black pepper, hearts of palm and the reserved liquid; mix well. Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer 15 min.
Sprinkle with chopped fresh cilantro before serving.
