It's up for debate whether this dish was named for its cheesy topping or whether the Swiss really add sautéed mushrooms to hot dogs. Regardless, it's good.

2 OSCAR MAYER Beef Franks
1 Tbsp. margarine
1-1/2 cups sliced fresh mushroom
2 KRAFT Slim Cut Swiss Cheese Slice s
2 hot dog bun s

Let's Make It
Cook franks as directed on package. Meanwhile, melt margarine in medium skillet on medium heat. Add mushrooms; cook 5 to 7 min. or until tender, stirring occasionally.
Divide mushrooms in half (in skillet). Top each half with cheese slice; cook on low heat 2 min. or until melted.
Fill buns with franks and mushrooms.
Serve with fresh fruit and assorted cut-up fresh vegetables to round out the meal.
For added flavor, serve sandwiches dipped in warmed beef broth.
