1-1/2 cups masarepa
1-1/2 cups water
1/2 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese
2 Tbsp. milk
1 Tbsp. butter

Mix all ingredients except butter; let stand 5 min.
Shape into 18 (3-inch) patties.
Melt butter in large skillet on medium heat. Add patties, in batches; cook 3 min. on each side or until crisp and lightly browned on both sides.
Reduce the cooking time by using either 2 large skillets or 1 large flat-top griddle.
Prepare using KRAFT Shredded Mozzarella Cheese.
