What You Need
Original recipe yields 12 servings
3 oz. BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, divided
1 Tbsp. butter
12 chocolate chip cookies (2 inch)
6 KRAFT Caramels
2 tsp. milk
12 PLANTERS Pecan Halves

Microwave 2 oz. chocolate and butter in microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1 min. or until chocolate is melted and mixture is well blended, stirring every 30 sec. Spread onto tops of cookies. Let stand 15 min. or until chocolate is firm.
Microwave caramels and milk in small microwaveable bowl 1 min.; stir until smooth. Melt remaining chocolate as directed on package.
Spoon caramel onto centers of cookies; top with nuts. Drizzle with melted chocolate. Let stand 30 min.
To give as a gift, pack several cookie turtles in decorative container or tin lined with colorful plastic wrap or tissue paper.
Substitute 1/2 tsp. chopped PLANTERS Pecans for the pecan half on top of each cookie.
Store in airtight container at room temperature.
