Here's an easy way to start a restaurant-style dinner for a crowd at your house. Butter, olive oil and Parmesan make this warm garlic bread a winner.
What You Need
Original recipe yields 16 servings
1 head garlic
1 tsp. olive oil
1/4 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese
1 loaf Italian bread (1 lb.), cut lengthwise in half

Heat oven to 425ºF.
Cut thin slice off top of garlic, exposing tops of all cloves; place on sheet of foil. Drizzle with oil. Wrap in foil. Bake 40 min. or until garlic is very soft. Cool 5 min. Reduce oven temperature to 400ºF.
Squeeze garlic cloves from skin into small bowl; mash with fork. Add butter; mix well. Stir in cheese; spread onto cut sides of bread. Place, cut-sides up, on baking sheet.
Bake 18 to 20 min. or until golden brown. Serve warm.
