Betcha didn't know that hummus could be used as a canvas as well as a snack! Here it forms the face of a tiger—or perhaps a green-whiskered house cat.
What You Need
Original recipe yields 7 servings
1 pkg. (7 oz.) ATHENOS Roasted Red Pepper Hummus
2 carrot s, peeled, cut diagonally into thin slices
2 slices cucumber
3 pimento-stuffed green olive s
8 thin green pepper strips
21 RITZ Crackers

Let's Make It
Spread hummus into 8-inch circle on large plate.
Arrange carrots around outer edge to resemble a lion's mane. Add cucumbers for the ears. Remove pimentos from olives; place olives in hummus for the eyes and nose. Add pimentos for the eyebrows and mouth and peppers for the whiskers.
Serve with crackers.
Kids will have fun assembling this lion.
