Place bread slices in single layer on baking sheet. Broil 2 min. on each side or until golden brown on both sides.
Top with Red Sofrito and cheese.
Broil 3 min. or until cheese is melted.
Stir 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh basil leaves into Red Sofrito before using as directed.
This is a great recipe for entertaining since it can be assembled ahead of time. Prepare as directed except do not broil until just before serving.
