Original recipe yields 25 servings
1-1/2 cups quick-cooking oats
1-1/2 cups flour
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 tsp. CALUMET Baking Powder
3/4 cup butter
1 cup PLANTERS Walnuts, chopped

Heat oven to 350°F.

Mix oats, flour, sugar and baking powder in large bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender or 2 knives until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Press 3 cups oat mixture firmly onto bottom of 9-inch square baking pan. Spread jam over crust. Mix nuts with remaining crumb mixture; sprinkle over jam.

Bake 30 min. or until topping is lightly browned. Cool completely on wire rack.

Substitute
Substitute purchased strawberry jam for the freezer jam.
Special Extra
For easy cleanup, line baking pan with foil using this easy method.  Turn pan upside down and fit a piece of foil over top of pan, smoothing corners as needed.  Remove foil.  When you turn the pan over, the foil fits perfectly inside the pan.
