Try this French Toast for Two for brunch with a special someone! It's a quick 15-minute dish that makes any day feel like a weekend at a B&B!

Original recipe yields 2 servings
2 oz. (1/4 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon, divided
4 slices firm white bread
2 egg s
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 cup maple syrup, warmed

Mix cream cheese, sugar and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon until blended; spread onto 2 bread slices. Cover with remaining bread slices to make 2 sandwiches.

Whisk eggs, milk, vanilla and remaining cinnamon in pie plate until blended.

Dip sandwiches, 1 at a time, into egg mixture, turning to evenly moisten both sides of each sandwich. Cook in large nonstick skillet sprayed with cooking spray on medium heat 2 to 3 min. on each side or until golden brown on both sides.

Serve with syrup.

Save 140 calories and 6g of total fat, including 3g of sat fat, per serving by omitting the syrup, using PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese and substituting 1/2 cup cholesterol-free egg product for the 2 eggs. Sprinkle evenly with 1 Tbsp. powdered sugar before serving.
Note
If you don't have firm white bread, you can use regular white bread instead. Just toast it lightly before using as directed.
