Cooking the meat in bacon drippings gives this turkey and black bean chili its great smoky flavor. Top with sour cream and crumbled bacon.

Original recipe yields 6 servings
4 slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, chopped
1 lb. ground turkey
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
2 Tbsp. chili powder
2 cans (14-1/2 oz. each) chili-style diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can (15 oz.) black beans, rinsed
6 Tbsp. BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream

Cook bacon in large saucepan or Dutch oven on medium heat until crisp. Drain, reserving 1 Tbsp. of the drippings in saucepan. Set bacon aside.
Add turkey, onions, peppers and chili powder to drippings in saucepan; cook until turkey is no longer pink, stirring frequently. Stir in tomatoes; simmer 10 min, stirring occasionally. Add beans; cook until heated through, stirring occasionally.
Ladle into 6 individual serving bowls; top evenly with sour cream and reserved bacon. Serve with the crackers.
Substitute 1 Tbsp. ground cumin for 1 Tbsp. of the chili powder.
