Thick and chunky salsa gives this lasagna-like mac & cheese casserole its Tex-Mex cred.
What You Need
Original recipe yields 6 servings
1 pkg. (7-1/4 oz.) KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese Dinner
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 jar (16 oz.) TACO BELL® Thick & Chunky Salsa
2 cups frozen corn
1/2 cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream
1 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese, divided

Let's Make It
Heat oven to 400ºF.
Prepare Dinner as directed on package. Meanwhile, brown meat in large skillet; drain. Add salsa and corn; cook 5 min. or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
Stir sour cream into prepared Dinner; spoon half into 8-inch square baking dish. Top with layers of half each of the meat mixture and shredded cheese. Repeat layers.
Bake 15 min. or until heated through.
Save 50 calories and 6g of fat, including 3g of sat fat, per serving by preparing with extra-lean ground beef, BREAKSTONE'S Reduced Fat or KNUDSEN Light Sour Cream, and KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Cheddar Cheese.
