With crushed vanilla wafers as a base, and layers of Neufchatel cheese and fresh strawberries, this dessert just gets tastier and tastier.

Original recipe yields 20 servings
35 vanilla wafers, finely crushed (about 1-1/4 cups)
1/4 cup sugar
6 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese, softened
3-1/2 cups plus 2 Tbsp. cold fat-free milk, divided
1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP LITE Whipped Topping, thawed, divided
4 cups fresh strawberries, halved
2 pkg. (1 oz. each) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Sugar Free Fat Free Instant Pudding

Mix wafer crumbs, sugar and butter until blended; press onto bottom of 13x9-inch pan. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Beat Neufchatel and 2 Tbsp. milk in large bowl with whisk until blended. Stir in half the COOL WHIP; spread over crust. Top with berries. Beat pudding mixes and remaining milk with whisk 2 min.; pour over berries.

Refrigerate 4 hours. Spread with remaining COOL WHIP just before serving.

How to Soften the Neufchatel Cheese
Place completely unwrapped package of Neufchatel cheese in microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 10 sec. or just until softened. Add 15 sec. for each additional package of Neufchatel cheese.
