Original recipe yields 8 servings
1 lb. baking potato es (about 3), peeled, shredded
3/4 cup KRAFT Creamy Italian Dressing, divided
2 cloves garlic, minced, divided
1/4 tsp. dried thyme leaves
3/4 cup oil
1/4 cup KRAFT Real Mayo Mayonnaise

Combine potatoes, 1/2 cup dressing, half the garlic and thyme.
Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Carefully add tablespoons of potato mixture, in batches, to skillet; flatten with spatula. Cook 2 to 3 min. on each side or until golden brown on both sides. Drain on paper towels.
Mix mayo, remaining dressing and garlic. Serve with fritters.
Prepare using KRAFT Light Mayo Reduced Fat Mayonnaise.
Add 2 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro to the mayo mixture before using as directed.
