Between the fresh strawberries and the creamy dulce de leche deliciousness, this showstopping dessert has something for everyone.
What You Need
Original recipe yields 16 servings
3 cups water, divided
2 pkg. (3 oz. each) JELL-O Strawberry Flavor Gelatin
1 can (13.4 oz.) dulce de leche (sweetened milk caramel)
1-3/4 cups milk
2 env. (1/4 oz. each) KNOX Unflavored Gelatine
4 cups fresh strawberries

Let's Make It
Boil 1 cup water. Add to strawberry gelatin mixes in medium bowl; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Stir in remaining water.
Pour into 6-1/2-qt. mold sprayed with cooking spray. Refrigerate 30 min. or until gelatin is set but not firm.
Meanwhile, mix dulce de leche and milk until blended. Add 1/2 cup to unflavored gelatines in medium bowl; stir. Let stand 5 min. Pour half the remaining caramel mixture into small saucepan; bring to boil. Add to unflavored gelatine mixture; stir 2 min. until gelatine is completely dissolved. Stir in remaining caramel mixture; cool completely.
Spoon caramel mixture over strawberry gelatin layer. Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm. Unmold onto platter; serve with strawberries.
Use 1 pkg. (3 oz.) JELL-O SIMPLY GOOD Strawberry Flavor Gelatin.
Layering Gelatin Mixtures
In order for the gelatin layers to stick together, the strawberry gelatin layer should stick to the finger when touched or move to the side when mold is tilted. When layering gelatin mixtures, they should be almost completely cooled prior to layering or the layers will melt into each other.
Look for dulce de leche in the baking aisle of Latin grocery stores.
