Here's a great weeknight skillet dish made with sweet Italian sausage, peppers and brown rice. Sprinkle with Parmesan and enjoy!
What You Need
Original recipe yields 4 servings
1/4 cup KRAFT Lite Zesty Italian Dressing
1 lb. Italian turkey sausage links, cut into 1-inch-thick slices
1 each green and red pepper, cut into strips
1 can (14-1/2 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
1/2 cup water
2 cups instant brown rice, uncooked
2 Tbsp. KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

Let's Make It
Heat dressing in large deep skillet on medium heat. Add sausage; cook 5 min., stirring frequently.
Add peppers, tomatoes and water; stir. Bring to boil. Stir in rice; cover. Simmer on low heat 5 min.
Remove from heat. Let stand 5 min. or until liquid is absorbed. Sprinkle with cheese.
