Original recipe yields 10 servings
1 lb. lean ground beef
2 onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tbsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. ground cumin
2 cans (15-1/2 oz. each) black beans, undrained
2 cans (14-1/2 oz. each) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Brown meat with onions and garlic in Dutch oven or large deep skillet on medium-high heat, stirring occasionally; drain.

Stir in chili powder and cumin; cook 1 min. Add beans and tomatoes; mix well. Bring to boil; cover. Simmer on low heat 20 min., stirring occasionally.

Serve with topped with cheese. .

Prepare using your favorite canned beans.
Make it Easy
If you don't like to chop onions, try purchasing them already chopped from the salad bar at your local supermarket. They can also be found already chopped in the frozen vegetable section of the supermarket. Just measure out what you need and start cooking - no need to thaw.

Serve topped with your favorite chili toppings, such as KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese, finely chopped onions, BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream, and/or sliced black olives.
