The simplest is also the best: this bruschetta needs only lightly dressed plum tomatoes, onion, and basil on a baguette.

1 French bread baguette (18 inch), cut into 36 slices
1 lb. plum tomatoes, chopped
1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
2 green onion s, sliced
1/3 cup KRAFT Tuscan House Italian Dressing

Heat broiler.

Place baguette slices in single layer on baking sheet. Broil, 6 inches from heat, 1 to 2 min. on each side or until golden brown on both sides.

Combine tomatoes, basil and onions in medium bowl. Add dressing; mix lightly.

Spoon tomato mixture onto toast slices just before serving.

Most tomatoes require some ripening at home. To do so, place tomatoes in a closed brown paper bag and store at room temperature away from direct sunlight. After tomatoes turn red, remove them from the bag and store at room temperature for up to 3 days.
