Original recipe yields 16 servings
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
3 Tbsp. sugar
3 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
5 pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
3 Tbsp. flour
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream
4 egg s
10 OREO Cookies, chopped

Heat oven to 325°F.

Fold 30-inch piece of foil crosswise in half; double-fold a 2-inch piece in center of foil to form rim. Place in 13x9-inch pan, with rim in center of pan and ends of foil extending over sides of pan. (Pan will be divided in half.) Mix cracker crumbs, 3 Tbsp. sugar and butter. Spoon evenly into prepared pan; press firmly onto bottom of each half of pan to form 2 separate crusts. Bake 10 min.

Meanwhile, beat cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, flour and vanilla in large bowl with mixer until well blended. Add sour cream; mix well. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition just until blended. Remove 4 cups batter; pour over 1 crust. Gently stir chopped cookies into remaining batter; pour over remaining crust.

Bake 45 min. or until center is almost set. Cool. Refrigerate 4 hours. Remove cheesecake from pan, using foil handles. Cut each half into 8 bars to serve.

Prepare as directed, substituting your favorite chopped cookies, dried fruit, PLANTERS Nuts or chopped BAKER'S Chocolate for the chopped OREO Cookies. Or, substitute your favorite crushed cookies, such as OREO Cookies or peanut butter sandwich cookies, for the graham cracker crumbs.
