What You Need
Original recipe yields 48 servings
3/4 lb. (12 oz.) VELVEETA, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1 cup butter
1-1/2 pkg. (4 oz. each) BAKER'S Unsweetened Chocolate (6 oz.)
2 Tbsp. light corn syrup
2 lb. powdered sugar, sifted
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
1-1/2 cups chopped PLANTERS Walnuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Cook and stir VELVEETA, butter, chocolate and corn syrup in large saucepan on medium-low heat 10 min. or until VELVEETA is completely melted and mixture is well blended.
Mix sugar and cinnamon in large bowl. Gradually add VELVEETA mixture, mixing well after each addition. Stir in nuts and vanilla.
Spread onto bottom of 13x9-inch pan sprayed with cooking spray. Refrigerate several hours or until firm before cutting into 1-inch squares.

Holiday cookie gifts become extra special when packaged in creative containers. Try clean wooden boxes, flower pots, pretty kitchen towels and new baking pans. Just line the containers with waxed paper, plastic wrap or foil. If using decorative tissue paper, wrap small stacks of cookies in plastic wrap before placing in container. Keep flavors intact by wrapping each type of cookie separately. Be sure to pack crisp cookies separately from moist cookies to prevent crisp cookies from becoming soft.
Prepare fudge as directed; cool, then cut into squares. Wrap tightly. Freeze in airtight container up to 2 months. Thaw in refrigerator overnight before serving.
Substitute 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies for the 1-1/2 cups nuts.
