Chicken gets an elegant upgrade in this restaurant-quality dish made with mushrooms, chicken drumsticks and a luscious sour cream au jus.
What You Need
Original recipe yields 6 servings
1/4 cup KRAFT Zesty Italian Dressing
2 lb. chicken drumstick s (about 6)
1/4 cup flour, seasoned
1/2 lb. mushroom s, sliced
1 cup chicken broth, divided
1 cup frozen peas
1/2 cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream
8 oz. spaghetti
4 slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, cooked, crumbled

Let's Make It
Coat chicken with flour. Heat dressing in large skillet; add chicken. Cook 5 min. or until browned on all sides, turning occasionally. Move chicken to one side of skillet.
Add mushrooms and ¼ cup broth; cook and stir mushrooms 3 min. or until all liquid is absorbed.
Pour in remaining broth; bring to boil. Cover; simmer on medium-low heat 20 min. Meanwhile, cook spaghetti as directed on package, omitting salt; drain. Add peas to chicken mixture; cook 5 min. Stir in sour cream; cook and stir just until heated through. (Do not boil.) Serve over spaghetti; sprinkle with bacon.
Use Tongs When Cooking Chicken
When cooking chicken, use tongs instead of a fork when turning the chicken over. This will help to prevent the juices from running out, resulting in a moister, more flavorful cooked product.
Keeping it Safe
To be sure meat is fully cooked, check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer or make sure the juices of all poultry products run clear. Poultry should be cooked to 165°F.
