This tasty slow-cooker sloppy joe filling is made with a combination of ground beef and sausage simmered with spaghetti sauce until delicious.
What You Need
Original recipe yields 12 servings
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 lb. Italian sausage
1-1/2 cups OLIVO by CLASSICO Traditional Pasta Sauce
1/2 cup water
12 hamburger buns
12 KRAFT Slim Cut Mozzarella Cheese Slices

Let's Make It
Brown ground beef and sausage in large skillet; drain. Place in slow cooker.
Stir in pasta sauce and water; cover with lid. Cook on LOW 4 hours.
Fill buns with meat mixture; top with cheese.
Both meats can be cooked ahead of time. Cool, then refrigerate up to 2 days before using to make sauce as directed.
For best results, cook on the LOW setting as directed in recipe. Cooking on HIGH might cause the sauce to burn.
Cool any leftovers, then store in single-serving portions in microwaveable containers. Reheat in microwave just before serving.
Serve with fresh fruit and your favorite cut-up fresh vegetables to round out the meal.
