1-1/2 lb. red potato es (about 5), cut into 1-inch chunks
2 cloves garlic, peeled
4 oz. (1/2 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese, cubed
1/4 cup milk
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper

Cook potatoes and garlic in boiling water in large saucepan 15 to 20 min. or until tender.
Drain potato mixture; return to pan.
Add remaining ingredients; mash until Neufchatel is melted and potatoes are desired consistency.
For cheesy flavor, sprinkle 1/2 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese over prepared potatoes before serving.
