Original recipe yields 4 servings
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1-1/2 cups water
1 pkg. (14 oz.) KRAFT Deluxe Macaroni & Cheese Dinner Made With 2% Milk Cheese

Let's Make It
Brown meat with vegetables in large skillet; drain. Return to skillet.
Stir in water and garlic powder. Bring to boil. Stir in Penne; cover. Simmer 12 min. or until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally.
Add Sauce; cook and stir until heated through.
Serve the Meal With a Salad
Serve with a bagged green salad tossed with your favorite KRAFT Dressing, such as Italian or Ranch.
Stir in 1 small chopped tomato with the Sauce.
