Original recipe yields 10 servings
1 pkg. (4 oz.) BAKER'S Bittersweet Chocolate
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 Tbsp. MAXWELL HOUSE Instant Coffee
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup light corn syrup
3 egg s, beaten
2 Tbsp. BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream
1/4 tsp. almond extract
1/2 cup PLANTERS Slivered Almonds, toasted
1 ready-to-use graham cracker crumb crust (6 oz.)

Heat oven to 350°F.

Microwave first 3 ingredients in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 2 min. or until butter is melted; stir until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is well blended.

Stir in sugar and corn syrup. Whisk in eggs, sour cream and extract until blended. Pour into crust; sprinkle with nuts.

Bake 45 min. or until knife inserted 1 inch from center comes out clean. Cool completely on wire rack.

How to Toast Nuts
Toasting nuts adds crunch and intensifies their flavor. To toast nuts in the oven, spread nuts in single layer in shallow baking pan. Bake at 350°F for 8 to 10 min. or until golden brown, stirring occasionally. To toast nuts on the stovetop, place nuts in ungreased skillet. Cook on medium heat until golden brown, stirring frequently. To toast nuts in the microwave, place up to 1 cup of nuts in a microwaveable shallow dish. Microwave on HIGH until fragrant and crisp, stirring every 30 sec.
