1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp. MAXWELL HOUSE Instant Coffee
1 egg, beaten
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 cup flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 cups chopped PLANTERS Slivered Almonds, toasted
1-1/2 cups dried fruit bits
3 oz. BAKER'S Bittersweet Chocolate, chopped
3 oz. BAKER'S White Chocolate, chopped

Heat oven to 350°F.

Beat butter and sugars in large bowl with mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Dissolve coffee in egg; beat in egg mixture and extract. Mix in flour, baking soda and salt. Stir in remaining ingredients.

Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough, 1-1/2 inches apart, onto baking sheets.

Bake 10 to 12 min. or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheet 2 min. Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
