Original recipe yields 4 servings
2-1/2 lb. chicken pieces
1 env. (0.7 oz.) GOOD SEASONS Garlic & Herb Dressing Mix, divided
2 tsp. chili powder, divided
1 cup panko bread crumbs
2 Tbsp. finely chopped fresh parsley
1-1/2 cups oil

Sprinkle chicken with 1 Tbsp. dressing mix and 1 tsp. chili powder in shallow glass dish; turn to coat. Refrigerate 1 to 2 hours to marinate.
Mix bread crumbs, parsley, remaining dressing mix and chili powder in resealable plastic bag. Add chicken, 1 piece at a time; shake to coat.
Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook 10 min. or until browned on all sides, turning frequently. Cover. Cook on medium heat 30 min. or until chicken is done (165°F), turning occasionally. Drain on paper towels.
The best oils for frying are canola, corn, peanut, safflower and soybean.
Serve with a bagged green salad tossed with your favorite KRAFT Dressing, such as Italian or Ranch.
