A layer of creamy vanilla pudding and a layer of pudding with chocolate added make this two-layer torte an impressive (but easy) dessert for company.

Original recipe yields 16 servings
32 vanilla wafers, divided
5 oz. BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, divided
1 pkg. (8 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
2 cups cold milk
2 pkg. (3.4 oz. each) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Instant Pudding
1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed, divided
3/4 cup raspberries

Line 9-inch cake pan with plastic wrap; stand 16 wafers around side of pan. Set aside. Melt 4 oz. chocolate as directed on package.

Beat cream cheese in large bowl with mixer until creamy. Gradually beat in milk. Add pudding mixes; beat 2 min. Stir in 2 cups COOL WHIP; spread half onto bottom of pan. Stir melted chocolate into remaining pudding mixture; spread over pudding layer in pan. Top with remaining wafers. Refrigerate 3 hours.

Meanwhile, make chocolate curls from remaining chocolate; refrigerate.

Invert torte onto serving plate; remove pan and plastic wrap. Top torte with remaining COOL WHIP, berries and chocolate curls.

How to Make Chocolate Curls
Warm chocolate slightly by heating it in the microwave for a few seconds until you can just smudge the chocolate with your thumb. Hold the chocolate steadily between your thumb and fingers of one hand and draw a vegetable peeler slowly over flat bottom of chocolate piece. Allow a thin layer of chocolate to curl as it is peeled off the bottom. This will make long delicate curls. To make short curls, use the same technique on the narrow sides of the chocolate piece. To arrange curls on a dessert, use a toothpick to lift them into place.
