Cook macaroni as directed on package, omitting salt. Meanwhile, brown meat with onions in large nonstick skillet; drain. Stir in tomatoes, ketchup, mustard and 1/2 cup cheese.
Drain macaroni; place in large bowl. Add butter; toss until melted and macaroni is evenly coated. Stir in egg and 1/2 cup of the remaining cheese. Press onto bottom and up side of 9-inch pie plate sprayed with cooking spray.
Spread meat mixture over macaroni mixture, leaving 1-inch border around edge; sprinkle with remaining cheese.
Bake 25 min. or until heated through. Top with pickles.
Serve with a crisp, mixed green salad tossed with your favorite KRAFT Lite Dressing.
Omit macaroni and butter, and reduce the shredded Cheddar to 1 cup. Prepare 1 pkg. (7-1/4 oz.) KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese Dinner as directed on package. Add egg; mix well. Press onto bottom and up side of 9-inch pie plate sprayed with cooking spray. Continue as directed.
