Original recipe yields 9 servings
8 frozen waffles, toasted
8 slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces, cooked
1 cup KRAFT Shredded Cheddar Cheese, divided
6 egg s
1-1/4 cups milk
1/4 cup maple-flavored or pancake syrup

Heat oven to 325ºF.
Place 4 waffles in 8-inch square baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; top with bacon, 1/2 cup cheese and remaining waffles.
Whisk eggs, milk and syrup until blended; pour over waffles. Refrigerate 30 min.
Bake 40 min. or until center is set and top is puffed and golden brown. Top with remaining cheese; bake 5 min. or until cheese is melted.
Substitute 1/4 lb. cooked and drained breakfast pork sausage for the bacon.
Garnish with a sprinkle with ground nutmeg or cinnamon.
