1-1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 cup plus 2 Tbsp. sugar, divided
4 pkg. (8 oz. each) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1/2 cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream
1 pkg. (3 oz.) JELL-O Strawberry Flavor Gelatin
2 tsp. vanilla
4 egg s
1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen strawberries in syrup, thawed
12 fresh strawberries, cut in half

Heat oven to 350º F.

Mix graham crumbs, butter and 2 Tbsp. sugar; press onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan.

Beat cream cheese and remaining sugar in large bowl with mixer until blended. Add sour cream, dry gelatin mix and vanilla; mix well. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each just until blended. Stir in thawed frozen strawberries; pour over crust.

Bake 55 min. to 1 hour or until center is almost set. Run knife around rim of pan to loosen cake; cool before removing rim. Refrigerate cheesecake 4 hours.

Garnish with fresh strawberries just before serving.
Kitchen Tips
Blending Cream Cheese
When blending cream cheese in dessert recipes, make sure the cream cheese and sugar are completely blended, free of lumps and smooth before adding any other ingredients. If the cream cheese is too cold, it will not blend easily. To easily soften cream cheese, place a completely unwrapped package of cream cheese in a microwaveable bowl. Microwave on HIGH 15 sec. or until softened. Add 15 sec. for each additional package of cream cheese.
Springform Pan Tip
For easier removal of baked cheesecake from bottom of springform pan, insert the bottom rim-side down into springform pan; secure latch. Prepare cheesecake as directed. When ready to serve, carefully remove cheesecake from the base with metal spatula.
