What You Need
Original recipe yields 8 servings
4 oz. (1/2 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Neufchatel Cheese, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1/8 tsp. almond extract
1 cup thawed COOL WHIP LITE Whipped Topping
1 pkg. (10 oz.) angel food cake
1 cup canned cherry pie filling

Let's Make It
Beat Neufchatel, sugar and extract in large bowl with mixer until blended. Gently stir in COOL WHIP.
Cut cake horizontally into 3 layers. Stack layers on plate, spreading Neufchatel mixture between layers and on top of cake.
Refrigerate 1 hour. Top with pie filling.
Refrigerate leftover cherry pie filling with the remaining COOL WHIP. Spoon over JELL-O Fat Free Chocolate Pudding Snacks just before serving.
Prepared dessert can be stored in refrigerator up to 2 days before serving.
How to Cut Cake
Use toothpicks to mark cake into 3 layers. Use a serrated knife to cut cake, in sawing motion, into layers.
