This Easy Romanoff with Strawberry Coulis is one of the most delicious ways we know of to celebrate the start of strawberry season.
What You Need
Original recipe yields 4 servings
3 cups sliced strawberries, divided
1 Tbsp. granulated sugar
1-1/2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
1/4 cup BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 Tbsp. orange juice

Let's Make It
Blend 1 cup berries and granulated sugar in blender until smooth. Strain through fine-meshed sieve; discard seeds.
Mix next 4 ingredients until blended.
Spoon 1/4 cup of the remaining berries into each of 4 dessert dishes. Top with COOL WHIP mixture, remaining sliced berries and strained mashed berries.
Dessert can be a part of a balanced diet, but remember to keep tabs on portions.
Substitute orange-flavored liqueur for the orange juice.
Berry puree can be made ahead of time. Cover and refrigerate up to 24 hours before using as directed.
