2 lb. fresh asparagus spears, trimmed
1 Tbsp. water
1 cup fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth
1/2 cup (1/2 of 8-oz. tub) PHILADELPHIA Chive & Onion Cream Cheese Spread
1 tsp. lime zest
1 tsp. chopped fresh tarragon
1/4 tsp. ground red pepper (cayenne)

Microwave asparagus and water in covered microwaveable dish on HIGH 4 to 5 min. or until asparagus is crisp-tender.

Meanwhile, heat broth in small saucepan. Add cream cheese spread; cook and stir until cream cheese is completely melted and sauce is slightly thickened. Stir in zest and seasonings.

Drain asparagus. Serve topped with sauce.

Serving Suggestion
For a simple and elegant presentation, divide cooked asparagus spears into 6 bundles. Tie each with a steamed green onion. Divide sauce onto 6 plates, then top each with an asparagus bundle.
Trimming Fresh Asparagus
Asparagus spears snap off naturally where they are tough. Simply bend the spear near the bottom end and it will break off at the right point. Or, remove an inch or so of the "woody" portion off the bottom of the stalks with a sharp knife.
