What You Need
Original recipe yields 8 servings
8 slices OSCAR MAYER Bacon, cut into 1/2-inch-wide pieces
5 OSCAR MAYER Wieners, cut into 1-inch-thick slices
1 pkg. (7.5 oz.) OSCAR MAYER CARVING BOARD Slow Cooked Ham, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, sliced
1 bay leaf
2 Tbsp. chopped fresh thyme
4 cans (15 oz. each) black beans, drained and rinsed
2 cans (14.5 oz. each) fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth
2 plum tomatoes, seeded, chopped
1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro

Cook and stir bacon in large saucepan on medium heat until crisp. Remove from pan; drain on paper towels. Discard drippings from pan.
Return half the bacon to pan. Stir in wieners and ham; cook 1 to 2 min. or until lightly browned. Add onions, garlic, bay leaf and thyme; cook 5 min. or until onions are crisp-tender, stirring frequently. Add beans and broth; simmer 20 min., stirring occasionally. Discard bay leaf.
Serve feijoada topped with remaining bacon, tomatoes and cilantro.
Serve with hot cooked white rice.
Substitute 1 Tbsp. dried thyme leaves for the chopped fresh thyme.
