Original recipe yields 6 servings
3 Tbsp. butter
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
6 banana s, cut in half lengthwise and crosswise
1/2 cup thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping

Melt butter in large saucepan on medium heat. Add sugar and cinnamon; stir until blended.
Add bananas; cook 4 min., carefully turning over after 2 min.
Place 4 banana pieces in each of 6 dessert dishes; top each with about 1 Tbsp. COOL WHIP.
Dessert can be a part of a balanced diet, but remember to keep tabs on portions.
When cooking with bananas, choose those that are slightly under ripe. They'll hold their shape better after cooking.
For a tangy alternative, substitute BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Sour Cream for the whipped topping.
