Make homemade marzipan—with JELL-O and other easy-to-get ingredients. Cut it into squares or have some fun and shape it like strawberries, pastries & more.

1 cup PLANTERS Slivered Almonds, ground
1 pkg. (3 oz.) JELL-O Gelatin, any red flavor
2/3 cup canned sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp. almond extract

Mix ingredients until blended; press onto bottom of 9-inch square pan. Let stand at room temperature 2 hours.

Cut into shapes using 2-inch cookie cutters. Or, use hands to form into desired shapes.

Refrigerate 1 hour or until firm.

Fun Idea
Shape marzipan into fruit or vegetable shapes. Add whole cloves or candied fruit pieces for the stems and blossom ends of the food shapes.
What To Do With Leftover Sweetened Condensed Milk
Store leftover sweetened condensed milk in tightly covered container in refrigerator up to 1 week. Serve over cut-up fruit or hot cooked oatmeal. Or for extra flavor, stir into your cup of hot brewed coffee or tea instead of regular milk.
