These tender, juicy grilled beef and veggie kabobs could be enjoyed right off the skewer—or served in flour tortillas with BBQ sauce to make fajitas.
What You Need
Original recipe yields 8 servings
1-1/2 lb. boneless beef sirloin steak, cut into 1/2-inch-thick strips
1 each green and red pepper, cut into 1-1/2-inch chunks
1 large onion, cut into 3/4-inch chunks
1/2 cup KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce, divided
8 flour tortillas (6 inch)

Let's Make It
Heat grill to medium-high heat.
Thread meat and vegetables alternately onto skewers.
Grill 8 to 10 min. or until meat is done, turning after 5 min. and brushing occasionally with 1/4 cup barbecue sauce for the last few minutes. Meanwhile, grill tortillas 15 to 30 sec. on each side or just until warmed.
Remove meat and vegetables from skewers; spoon onto tortillas. Drizzle with remaining barbecue sauce.
Use Your Broiler
Heat broiler. Assemble kabobs as directed; place on rack of broiler pan sprayed with cooking spray. Broil, 4 inches from heat, 8 to 10 min. or until meat is done, turning after 5 min. and brushing occasionally with 1/4 cup barbecue sauce for the last few minutes. Wrap tortillas in paper towels. Microwave on HIGH 1 min. or just until warmed. Top tortillas with meat and vegetables; drizzle with remaining barbecue sauce.
If using wooden skewers, soak skewers in water for 30 min. before using to assemble kabobs to prevent them from burning on the grill.
BBQ Grilled Seafood Kabobs
Substitute 1 lb. uncooked deveined peeled large shrimp for the steak. Assemble kabobs as directed. Grill on medium-high heat 5 to 7 min. or until shrimp turn pink, turning once and brushing frequently with barbecue sauce. Meanwhile, grill tortillas 15 to 30 sec. on each side or just until warmed. Continue as directed.
