Dijon mustard is a terrific flavoring ingredient all by itself. But it's also a team player in this Dijon-Herb Butter.
What You Need
Original recipe yields 12 servings
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/3 cup GREY POUPON Dijon Mustard
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tbsp. each finely chopped fresh parsley, sage and thyme

Mix ingredients until blended.
Serve as a spread for toasted French bread slices, or spooned over hot cooked vegetables, chicken or fish. Or, spread under the skin of a whole fresh chicken before roasting.
Prepare using your favorite combination of fresh herbs. Or, substitute 1 tsp. parsley flakes, dried sage and/or dried thyme for any one of the chopped fresh herbs.
This savory butter can be prepared ahead of time. Refrigerate up to 5 days or freeze up to 3 months before serving. If frozen, thaw overnight in refrigerator before using as desired.
