What You Need
Original recipe yields 16 servings
1-3/4 cups flour
1/2 tsp. CALUMET Baking Powder
3/4 cup butter or margarine, softened
1/2 cup sugar
2 pkg. (3 oz. each) JELL-O Cherry Flavor Gelatin, divided
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 cup boiling water
1/2 cup cold water
2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
2 oz. (1/2 of 4-oz. pkg.) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate
1 can (21 oz.) cherry pie filling

Heat oven to 400°F.
Mix flour and baking powder. Beat butter in large bowl with mixer until creamy. Gradually add sugar then 1 pkg. dry gelatin mix, beating after each addition until light and fluffy. Blend in egg and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour mixture; press onto bottom of 12-inch pizza pan.
Bake 15 to 17 min. or until edge is golden brown. Cool completely.
Meanwhile, add boiling water to remaining gelatin mix in large bowl; stir 2 min. until completely dissolved. Stir in cold water. Whisk in COOL WHIP. Refrigerate 15 to 20 min. or until mixture is very thick.
Melt chocolate as directed on package. Spread COOL WHIP mixture over crust; top with pie filling. Drizzle with chocolate.

Be sure to use a pizza pan that does not have holes in the bottom of the pan.
For a thinner crust, substitute a 15x10x1-inch pan for the pizza pan.
