Sweet onions and BBQ sauce are great burger toppers. But if you're a fan of the fiery stuff, some spicy pickled jalapeño nacho slices would work too!
What You Need
Original recipe yields 8 servings
8 lean ground beef patties (2 lb.), 1/2 inch thick
2 Tbsp. olive oil
3 sweet onion s (2 lb.), thinly sliced, separated into rings
3 Tbsp. KRAFT Thick & Spicy Barbecue Sauce
8 bakery-style hamburger bun s
2 tomatoes, each cut into 4 slices
8 KRAFT Singles
16 pickled jalapeño nacho slice s

Let's Make It
Heat grill to medium heat.
Grill patties 5 to 6 min. on each side or until done (160ºF).
Meanwhile, heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add onions; cook and stir 10 min. or until golden brown, stirring frequently. Stir in barbecue sauce.
Fill buns with tomatoes, burgers, Singles, jalapeño slices and onions.
Prepare using whole wheat rolls and KRAFT 2% Milk Singles.
There's no need for a separate melt step for these cheeseburgers. The heat from the hot burgers and onions will melt the Singles perfectly.
