Let's Make It
1
Prepare cake batter and bake as directed on package for 24 cupcakes. Cool 30 min. (Do not cool completely.)
2
Beat 2 oz. cream cheese and marshmallow creme in small bowl with mixer until blended. Gently stir in COOL WHIP. Reserve 1 tsp. cream cheese mixture for later use; spoon remaining into resealable plastic bag. Cut one corner off bottom of bag. Insert tip of bag into center of each cupcake, then use to pipe about 2 tsp. cream cheese mixture into cupcake.
3
Beat butter, semi-sweet chocolate and remaining cream cheese in large bowl with mixer until blended. Gradually beat in sugar.
4
Arrange cupcakes in bat shape on large platter or tray; frost with semi-sweet chocolate mixture. Use reserved cream cheese mixture and gumdrops to make the bats' eyes. Spoon white chocolate into separate resealable plastic bag. Cut one corner off bottom of bag; use to outline cake.
Kitchen Tips
Tip 1
Size Wise
Each cupcake used to build this seasonal cake has built-in portion control so you can easily keep tabs on portions.
Tip 2
Variation
Let your imagination run wild and arrange the cupcakes in another fun shape, such as a monster, jack-o'-lantern or witch's face. Frost and decorate as desired.
Tip 3
How to Use Leftover Marshmallow Creme
Use leftover marshmallow creme to make s'more bites. Simply spread marshmallow creme onto graham cracker squares, then top with a bit of chopped BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Chocolate, or a light drizzle of melted semi-sweet chocolate. Or, use with bread to make peanut butter and marshmallow creme sandwiches. For added fun for the kids, cut the sandwiches into triangles or other fun shapes before serving.
