This quick-to-make sausage and white bean cassoulet will knock their socks off with its zesty flavor and its crispy-crunchy Parmesan-crumb topping.
What You Need
Original recipe yields 6 servings
2 carrot s, finely chopped
1 large onion, chopped
1 lb. Italian sausage, crumbled
1/4 cup KRAFT Classic Ranch Dressing, divided
2 cans (15 oz. each) cannellini beans, rinsed, divided
1 cup fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
1/4 cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese

Cook carrots and onions in ovenproof Dutch oven or large deep skillet sprayed with cooking spray on medium heat 5 min. or until onions are tender, stirring occasionally. Add sausage and 3 Tbsp. dressing; cook 10 min. or until sausage is done, stirring frequently.
Mash 1/3 of the beans. Add to sausage mixture along with the whole beans and broth; stir. Simmer on medium-low heat 20 min., stirring occasionally.
Heat broiler. Top cassoulet with combined bread crumbs, cheese and remaining dressing. Broil, 4 inches from heat, 3 to 5 min. or until golden brown.
Serve with a crisp green salad tossed with your favorite KRAFT Lite Dressing.
Substitute your favorite sausage for the Italian sausage.
Prepare using navy beans.
