1 can (28 oz.) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 cup cooked long-grain brown rice

2 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil

Bring all ingredients to boil in large saucepan. Simmer on low heat 10 min.
Blend, in batches, in blender until smooth.
Return to saucepan; cook on low heat until heated through, stirring frequently.
Substitute 2 tsp. dried basil leaves for the fresh basil.
Substitute 1 cup uncooked instant brown rice for the cooked brown rice.
