1 Tbsp. oil
4 boneless pork chop s (1 lb.), 3/4 inch thick
4 tsp. A.1. Dry Rub Cracked Peppercorn
1/2 cup KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce

Let's Make It
Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Meanwhile, sprinkle both sides of chops with Dry Rub; press into meat to secure.
Add chops to skillet; cook 4 to 5 min. on each side or until done (145ºF). Remove from heat. Let stand 3 min. before serving with the barbecue sauce.
Serve with a mixed green salad and slice of whole wheat bread.
Using a Dial Instant-Read Food Thermometer
An instant-read food thermometer measures the temperature of a food in about 15 to 20 sec. It is not designed to remain in the food while it is cooking, but should be used near the end of the cooking time. For accurate temperature measurement, the probe of the thermometer should be inserted 2 to 2-1/2 inches deep into the thickest part of the food. If measuring the temperature of a thin food, such as a ground beef patty or boneless chicken breast, the probe should be inserted through the side of the food.
Testing for Doneness in Pork
To be sure pork is fully cooked, check the internal temperature with an instant-read meat thermometer. Insert the thermometer 2 to 2-1/2 inches into the thickest part of the meat, not touching any bones - it should read 145°F. If checking thinner pieces, such as pork chops, insert the thermometer through the side of the meat. After pork registers 145ºF, remove from heat and let it stand 3 min. before serving.
