Original recipe yields 8 servings
1 lb. gemelli pasta, uncooked
1 cup KRAFT Zesty Italian Dressing, divided
1 zucchini, cut lengthwise in half, then sliced crosswise
1 each orange and red pepper, cut into strips
1/2 cup grape tomatoes, halved
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 cup KRAFT Shredded Parmesan Cheese
1/4 cup fresh basil leaves

Cook pasta as directed on package, omitting salt.

Meanwhile, heat 2 Tbsp. dressing in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add vegetables and garlic; cook 5 min., stirring frequently.

Drain pasta. Reserve 1/2 cup of the remaining dressing. Add remaining dressing to vegetable mixture in skillet along with the pasta; mix lightly. Spoon into large bowl. Add reserved dressing and cheese; toss to coat. Top with basil.
