Get the fiesta started with something feisty! A finely chopped jalapeño pepper gives this cheesy Mexican-inspired dip a reason to celebrate.

Original recipe yields 18 servings
1 onion, chopped
1 jalapeño pepper, finely chopped
1/3 cup milk
1 pkg. (16 oz.) KRAFT Singles
1 tomatoes, chopped
2 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro

Cook onions and peppers in skillet sprayed with cooking spray on medium-high heat 5 min. or until onions are tender, stirring frequently.
Stir in milk on low heat. Gradually add Singles, cooking after each addition until melted, stirring constantly.
Top with tomatoes and cilantro.
Cut 1 lb. chorizo into 1/2-inch-thick slices. Heat 1 Tbsp. oil in large skillet on medium heat. Add chorizo; cook 3 to 4 min. or until done, turning after 2 min. Add to hot dip. Serve with tortilla chips.
We love the way this dish looks served in a cast iron skillet. But if you want to keep the dip warm, use a fondue pot or small slow cooker to serve the dip.
Substitute 1 drained can (4.5 oz.) diced green chiles for the chopped jalapeño pepper.
