Original recipe yields 6 servings
2 cups elbow macaroni, uncooked
1/4 cup olive oil, divided
1/4 cup finely chopped onions
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 lb. uncooked deveined peeled large shrimp
1/4 cup flour
2 cups milk
1-3/4 cups KRAFT Shredded Triple Cheddar Cheese with a TOUCH OF PHILADELPHIA, divided
1/3 cup KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese, divided

Heat oven to 350ºF.

Cook macaroni as directed on package, omitting salt.

Meanwhile, heat 1 Tbsp. oil in large skillet on medium heat. Add onions and garlic; cook and stir 5 min. or until crisp-tender. Add shrimp; cook and stir 3 to 4 min. or until shrimp turn pink. Remove shrimp mixture from skillet; set aside.

Add remaining oil to skillet. Whisk in flour; cook and stir 1 min. Gradually whisk in milk; cook and stir 3 to 5 min. or until thickened. Add 1-1/4 cups shredded cheese and 1/4 cup Parmesan; cook and stir 1 to 2 min. or until shredded cheese is melted.

Drain macaroni. Add to cheese sauce along with the shrimp mixture; mix well. Spoon into 9-inch square baking dish sprayed with cooking spray; top with remaining cheeses.

Bake 20 min. or until heated through.
