Shrimp, fresh pineapple chunks and fresh veggies make for party-perfect grilled kabobs—especially when they're brushed with this sweet and tangy BBQ sauce.

Original recipe yields 4 servings
1 lb. uncooked large shrimp, peeled, deveined, cut into 1-1/2-inch pieces
2 cups fresh pineapple chunks (1-1/2 inch)
1 each green and red pepper, cut into 1-1/2-inch pieces
1 large red onion, cut into 1-1/2-inch chunks
1/2 cup KRAFT Sweet & Spicy Barbecue Sauce
3 Tbsp. frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed

Heat grill to medium-high heat.

Thread shrimp, pineapple and vegetables alternately onto 8 skewers, using 2 skewers placed side-by-side for each kabob.

Mix barbecue sauce and juice concentrate until blended. Reserve half the sauce mixture; brush remaining sauce mixture onto kabobs.

Grill 4 to 6 min. or until shrimp is done, turning and brushing occasionally with reserved sauce mixture.

Substitute
Substitute 1 drained can (20 oz.) pineapple chunks in juice for the fresh pineapple.

Note
If using wooden skewers, soak skewers in water for 30 min. before using to assemble kabobs to prevent them from burning on the grill.

Variation
Prepare as directed, substituting 1 lb. skinless salmon fillets, cut into 1-inch chunks, for the shrimp and increasing grilling time to 8 to 10 min.
